MY THOUGHTS ON THE SONG:

I really like this song A LOT, it's probably my favorite track from C-ute's 5th album(SHOCKING 5! ^_^)!! And the English lyrics just make me like it even more because they really seem to relate to Maimi's situation(her cut hair! :P) well! But I was personally really surprised when I first heard this song though, because Maimi was singing it... I've always felt Maimi couldn't sing ballads like this very well, but she has proved me wrong! XD She does sound a bit "whiny" at the beginning of the song though, but throughout the rest of the song she sounds fine! ^_^ However.. I still do think these type of song's are better suited for members like Airi, because Airi can actually handle hitting all those high notes in song's like this LIVE(I know Maimi has a hard time handling it!)! But I do look forward to the day when I get to hear a HIGH QUALITY audio recording of Maimi singing her new solo live!! I think she will do decently well(I may be alone on my opinion though!! XD)! : )

Beckii Cruel

This is SORTA H!P related... LOL. XDDDD

I'm sure just about EVERY H!P fan knows who Beckii Cruel is.. But just in case ya didn't know...
Rebecca Flint was born 5 June 1995, she's better known by her stage name Beckii Cruel, she is a Manx pop singer. She reached popularity in Japan after a YouTube video of her dancing was posted around the Internet. She is the 21st most subscribed user (2nd most in the Musician category) in Japan on YouTube (as of 8 Feb 2009) Her YouTube account alone has reached 5.5 million viewers.

She got noticed through her Danjo video:



She & 2 other girl's(Sarah & Gemma Cruel) have released a major debut single,
The A-side to this major debut is "Tsubasa wo Kudasai"(Which means "Wings to Fly"):



B-side "Tsuki no Kakera"(Which means "Fragments of The Moon"):


I personally like Tsubasa wo Kudasai better because the vocals in Tsuki no Kakera sound.. Weird... But the PV is nice! <3


Beckii has also meet Morning Musume's Sayumi Michishige(This is the H!P related part! XD)..

Sayu looks a bit nervous in the video, but overall... seems to like Beckii from what I can see! : )

The English lyrics are interesting! They defintitely do suit the song(imo)!
My fav line from the translation is "Tomorrow, with a crash of thunder, the goddess of victory is waiting for you!". Love that line!


MY OVERALL OPINIONS ON THE SINGLE:

Me likey! ^_^
I like the little lighting things coming out of the girl's hand when they punch! Looks cool! : )
Although.. I do think the Wao parts do get rather irriating after a while, but other than that I like what I hear & see! The girl's don't look half as bad in those outfits as they looked when I first saw them either!!
Risako really impressed me a lot here! Her singing really does reminds me of Takahashi Ai's sometimes(I would perfer Rii-chan sing like this more often! XD)! <3
And OF COURSE my dear sweet Momoko was GREAT here as well!! She can be really amazing sometimes when she uses her deep voice! XD

(Other things that are rather notable... Chinami's look.. She looks gorgeous here! Miyabi's last solo line... I almost didn't think it was really her singing it at first, it was rather strong, if you consider what we've been hearing from her lately! XD).

C-ute - Member Ranking (Part 2)

It's been a while since I've done this....


1) Airi Suzuki

Everyone seems to be seems to be really hating on her a lot latelt ever since C-ute's SHOCK came out. I do undertsand why people are hating on her, but I don't approve of it.
Partly why every none-Airi fan is hating on her is because she's being a bit overexposed right now. But one good thing about her overexposure is that at least she SORTA deserves it. I mean I think she has the best vocal control from the H!P Kids and overall seems like a nice, down to earth peron. So.... I hope the whole "It's OK to hate on Airi" attitude that I see from other h!P fans dies down.. Airi's being hated more than Berryz Koubou's Risako Sugaya(The hate magnet!)!




2) Saki Nakijima
I was at first gonna put put her as my no.1 in C-ute until I realized that I really do pay more attention to Airi and like her a bit more too!

I have always thought that Nakky was pretty cute, but when her first photobook previews released my thoughts on her looks went from cute to HOT and GORGEOUS! Nakky really does have the best figure in C-ute(Yajima comes in a close 2nd!)! But it wasn't just her loooks that pulled me in, it was her personality and a certain performance from her I saw as well!
Nakky's performance in Pucchimoni V was really impressive! She sung surprisingly very well in it and the attention was totally on her(because Mai was sick from the performance and Nakky had to sing her own lines plus Mai's as well!)!! And I also LOVE her dancing! She does the dance steps so well! ^_^






3) Chisato Okai
Her personality is easily one of the most entertaining in C-ute's! She was REALLY funny in C-ute's Alo-Hello, I found myself paying attention to her the most in it! And I was really impressed with singing in her lastest solo events! I hope Tsunku let's her sing a solo in a C-ute concert(though I am REALLY doubtful! XD)!! I find myself going back and forth between Chisa and Airi when it comes to vocals! I can't choose who's vocals I like the better! XD





4) Maimi Yajima

Maimi was originally ranked 5th in C-ute, but after hearing her new solo from C-ute's new album "Lonely Girl's night", I feel honestly rather impressed with her! ^_^ It's something different from what Maimi would usually sing and she actually sounds rather nice singing it in the recording(of course... as soon as she sings it live, I'm probably gonna start disliking her singing again.)! And for the record... I'm still not a fan of Yajima's personality! C-ute's Alo-Hello did nothing for me with her! :P :P :P





5) Mai Hagiwara

Well... Someone had to be last(unfortunately)...
I don't dislike or hate Mai-chan(I actually rather like her!), but her being C-ute's youngest member doesn't really appeal to me much... She is a rather decent singer though, and when she's with Chisato, she's always at her funniest! : )












LOL. So, I guess this means I like ALL C-ute members(for now!)!! XD

C-ute - Shigatsu Sengen FULL PV

So here we finally get the full PV for C-ute's Shigatsu Sengen!!


MY OPINIONS ON THE PV & SONG:

I don't really have a problem with the song.. I think overall.. The song is OK. It's not the most amazing song ever, but it ain't horrible, it's just not really upbeat is all(most people just don't like the song because it's not upbeat!), but I do have a problem with the setting of the PV.. I don't like it.. It looks like they filmed it in Tsunku's basement or something. XD UFA could have done A LOT better than that! But other than that, I guess I think it's alright! And I also think the girls ALL look GORGEOUS in their close up's! Their smile's look rather genuine! ^_^ They make me feel a bit better about the horrible setting of the PV.
