Poll Results

About 2 weeks ago (A week and 5 days to be precise), I did 2 polls on Berryz and C-ute, the 2 polls were titled "Who are the best singers from Berryz Koubou?" and "Who are the best singers from C-ute?", here are the results to each poll:

(Berryz Koubou first)

Who are the best singers from Berryz Koubou?

Momoko Tsugunaga - 70 Votes
Miyabi Natsuyaki - 69 Votes
Risako Sugaya - 23 Votes
Maasa Sudou - 16 votes
Yurina Kumai - 14 Votes
Saki Shimizu - 13 votes
Chinami Tokunaga - 4 Votes

Total Votes: 209

Winner of the poll: Momoko Tsugunaga (She won by 1 vote)

My thoughts about the poll results:

There's a BIG gap between NatsuMomoCHU and the rest... Like... a 46 vote gap (Damn...)... O.O
LOL. Now I understand why my friend was so emotional about this poll (and doesn't like it much it seems)... his favorite member, Captain, is in the bottom 2 (and has been since the poll started..).... xD

I was taken by surprise at Maasa's position and votes... She was doing well in my poll from the very beginning... If I remember correctly, it was Maasa who was 3rd for a while (Risako only overtook her during the last 2 days or something xD), poor Yurina, was 3rd (for a day) at first, but slipped down to 5th (5th is a pretty good place! xD), well, I hear some people don't like her voice very much anyways (So, I guess that contributed to her position xD) ... XD
Risako... I actually expected her to finish in 3rd place.... I'm not surprised or anything... Same goes for Chinami!! xD

So (summing it up), it seems everyone thinks the best singers are Momoko, Miyabi, & Risako.... THE LEAD SINGERS OF THE GROUP (Ironic isn't it?)!! XD
Everyone would prefer Maasa as the 4th lead singer of Berryz over Yurina, huh? XD

(Onto C-ute's Poll Results Now)

Airi Suzuki: 69 Votes
Chisato Okai: 59 Votes
Maimi Yajima: 39 Votes
Mai Hagwara: 25 Votes
Saki Nakajima: 23 Votes

Total Votes: 215

Winner of the Poll: Airi Suzuki

My thoughts on the poll results:

I find it weird that Chisato wins in my vocal battle poll between her and Airi, but loses (by 10 votes... That's quite a bit) in this one... I wonder... Was Chisato just having one of those days?? Or did the fans change their minds.. Already?? Well... Whatever it is... I find it strange, and amusing at the same time.. People can't choose, I guess... XD
Airi's place and number of votes is no surprise to me though... It's expected, since she's popular, and vocally well praised ^^

Maimi Yajima actually had the most votes on the first day... Seriously, she did (It was so surprising), now she's well... there's a bit of a gap between her and Chisato (20 vote gap)... she still did very well in this poll though!! xD

Nakky was ahead of Mai yesterday (actually if I would have closed my poll yesterday like I intended to, instead of today... Nakky would have been 4th, and Mai 5th)... but yeah... When I decided to leave my poll open an extra day (because I wanted to break the 200 vote mark.. I had never done it before, and well... I'd be nice to break that mark! xD), Mai gained more votes... xD
(Nakky fans don't be mad at me for leaving the poll open an extra day! xD)

So, it seems everyone thinks the best singers from C-ute are Airi, Chisato, & Maimi.... AIRI AND MAIMI ARE THE LEAD SINGERS OF C-UTE, AND CHISATO IS A LEAD SINGER IN THE MAKING!!! (Again, I ask does anyone find that ironic? xD)

Something I noticed about both polls:

C-ute's votes on their poll are more evenly distributed between each member than Berryz's... XD

Berryz's 3rd most voted member, Risako Sugaya, has the same amount of votes as C-ute's least most voted member, Saki Nakajima (Does anyone find that.... I know don't know... Weird?? xD), Mai Hagiwara (C-ute's 2nd least most voted member) has more votes than ALL the members of Berryz (excluding Momoko and Miyabi of course). XD

The poll results are quite interesting... What do you guys think of them?? XD

The rest of the solos

So, after waiting about 12 hours... I think it's ok, to assume that I can upload the rest of the solos from C-ute's end of the year party (and won't get my account suspended! xD),
Here they are:

Leaders solos go first:

Maimi Yajima - Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba:

I know I already posted this video in my last post, but I felt I should post it again... Just to make sure XD

Maimi Yajima - Aenai nagai Nichiyoubi:

------------------------------------------------------

Saki Nakajima - Lucky Aura:

Saki Nakajima - Lalala Sososo:

(I think Nakky's a Mano Erina fan... Lucky Aura and Lalala Sososo are ManoEri songs!! xD)

Saki Nakajima - Akai Freesia:

There was a lot of Nakky in the karaoke part.. She had the most solos... Yay for all the Nakky love!! XD

-----------------------------------------------

Mai Hagiwara - Oujisama to yuki no yoru:

(Maimi was originally supposed to sing this, but she gave it to Mai... How sweet of her :D)

-------------------------------------------------

Chisato Okai - Romantic Ukare Mode:

Finally a full version of Chisato's Romantic Ukare Mode!! XD
Before we only got these little 20 second moments of her singing it: Click here and here.

And last video:
Chisato Okai & Mai Hagiwara - I NEED YOU:

Lol, Momo must be happy now, Chisato & Mai-chan sung her song....
Momo doesn't have to be jealous of Miyabi anymore... XD
(Lol, for those of you who don't get what I'm saying, ummmm... Well, Momo wrote on her blog recently to Chisato saying that she was sad (jealous) because Chisato only talks about Miyabi now.. XD)

----------------------------------------------

(The video's are all unlisted, so you won't be able to find them by just searching for them on Youtube, you need a link to view it! :P)

Maimi Yajima - Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba

Ummm... I think I'm gonna leave the 2 polls up for an extra day or 2.. I'm almost near 200 votes.. I kinda wanna break that mark XD

And here's Maimi's FULL (Yes, I did just say full, not a damn 1 minute teaser) version of "Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba", it's from C-ute's End of the year party:

Maimi's version is actually pretty good, you guys!! :)
I mean, if you just CAN'T STAND HER VOICE, than you're mostly likely not gonna like this very much (you probably aren't gonna like anything she sings!! xD), but yeah... her singing is quite stable (take note), and her voice is so soft (Maybe a little too soft at times.. Sometimes it sounds a little weak.. but none-the-less, a job well done for Maimi!! xD).

And lols... Nakky & Chisato have had too much sugar recently, haven't they?? they keep getting in front of the camera (This is Maimi's time... You 2 need to step back!! NO CAMERA WHORING ALLOWED!! *jk jk* XD) xD
(LOL. Look at 2:13-2:17... That's the funniest part of the video for me... Nakky's GENKI DESU KA!! She said it in such a deep funny voice!! XD)

(I'm planning on uploading the other members solos too... I just wanna first test though to see if Up-front removes this video for copyright (Someone uploaded Chisato's FULL version of "Romantic Ukare Mode" about 3 HOURS AGO, and now it's been removed, by Up-front for copyright.. I wanna see if they're gonna do the same with my video (If they do.. than I ain't uploading the other members solos! xD)

*goes off to sleep* XD

Guardians 4 Singles Ranking

A request from my friend (she asked me to rank their singles), so lol, here goes...
(They only have 4 singles, and have disbanded for those of you who didn't know btw... xD)

1. PARTY TIME

LOL. This is actually G4's lowest selling single (LMAO), but it's my favorite, it's always been my fav ever since it was released (An instant win for me).... (This is the only G4 song I listen to these days... :P)... XD

2. Omakase Guardian

Is it weird that I like their lowest selling singles the best??......... XD
They seem so much more catchy to me (Shugo Chara fans must have been on crack or something... PARTY TIME & Omakase are totally the best!! :P) xD

(Admittedly... I don't like the other 2 songs too much.... They're kinda on the same level for me... So, it's gonna be a little hard to choose which one is 3rd... xD)

3. Going on!

Yellow looks better on the G4 members than Blue.. that's why I choose this for 3rd instead of School days! (fail) -SHOT-. XD

4. School Days

The song is OK.. I guess... (I remember not liking it though, when I first heard it xD)

Don't really have much to say about the songs... They all sorta bore me (Excluding PARTY TIME, that song is awesome!! 8D)... xD
What do your G4 single rankings look like, you guys?? I wanna see them! :D

2 New Polls

LOL. I'm sorry that my blog was inactive for a few days (ran out of idea's :P).... I've got a new poll going now though... It's going back to vocals (That's what I usually get the most votes on anyways, so gotta keep that topic going xD)... I got the idea for my new poll from MC Chissa's blog.

The 2 new polls are titled "Who are the best singers of Berryz Koubou?" and "Who are the best singers of C-ute?" (Notice that I said "singers" and not "singer", I'm asking you to choose more than 1 member! :P), you guys can choose up to 3 members for each poll, the poll is going to be open til the 29th of this month (Nearly 2 weeks :P), so vote wisely (Don't be biased!!! xD).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OH AND CHECK THIS OUT....
Miyabi's solo Sakura->Nyuugakushiki:

(Yes, it is new :P)

LOL, I thought she was gonna sing "Sakura wa Raku Sa" solo, not Sakura Nyuugakushiki (I swear, I read somewhere that, that was what she sung solo), I think this song suits her voice better though than Sakura wa Raku, so it's ok... XD

I prefer her Masayume solo to this though... (I prefer that to all her solos though actually xD) :D

Poll Results

I was gonna leave the poll open one more week (because uhhh.. some... interesting fan-boy thinks that I cheated my poll just because Momo won it.... ).... but meh... I decided to close it after-all...

Poll results:
Momoko Tsugunaga: 31 Votes
Miyabi Natsuyaki: 29 Votes
Airi Suzuki: 19 Votes

LOL. Miyabi had the most votes before I let the poll stay open an extra day... Momo gained when I re-opened it though, and won the poll....
Honestly... There's really not much to say about these poll results... I've already seen a blog pic from Airi with all the Buono! members together in their new outfits for their 11th single, and she's center in it (lol, just as I had predicted! xD)... So yeah.. Even though Airi has the least amount of votes in my poll.. She IS the one in the center it seems (based on the blog pic).. XDDD

Blog pic:

Go Airi Suzuki!! xD

Berryz Koubou - Vocal & Personal Taste Ranking

My vocal skills ranking has changed for Berryz recently (and probably will change again really soon XD), no changes for C-ute so far... I've also added a personal taste ranking for Berryz for comparisons (Personal taste ranking is basically like... just what voices you prefer to listen to.. nothing to do with skills or consistency, just taste) :D
Here's my last ranking, for those of you who are curious (It includes C-ute too): http://berryzandc-ute.blogspot.com/2010/01/berryz-c-ute-vocal-control-ranking.html

Vocal skills: Berryz Koubou:
1. Momoko Tsugunaga & Miyabi Natsuyaki:: *sighs* I had put Momoko 1st originally (when I first posted this post), but lol... after a while I started to feel bad, because I wanted (and felt) that Miyabi should be at first too, since both of them are great singers in their own ways... So, yeah, now they're both at #1.... Isn't that funny? XD
*Moving on*
Momoko's vocals: Well, her singing can be a bit shaky sometimes (the only flaw I really see), but she's very good at controlling her voice, she's got good pitch, good range, and she's very consistent live (Yes, I think everyone knows that, right? XD), but what I wanna direct my attention to is her vocal range, I think Momo may be like one of the most versatile members in H!P right now.... She can go from cute and upbeat to mature and sexy. :D
Miyabi's vocals: Well, she has good pitch, good control, and she's consistent live (basically same as I said with Momo), she doesn't have many weaknesses... Only weaknesses I can think of that she may have are power (she sometimes lacks that and comes off as a bit weak), and emotion, sometimes she's just singing it, and not feeling it (she improved a bit on that recently though ^^)... That's pretty much it... Momo and Miya don't have many weaknesses, so yeah... =P
2. Yurina Kumai: I know a lot of people don't like her voice, and all, but lol, she's a pretty good singer, she's stable in most of the performances I've seen of her (Although.. I must say... Yuri really isn't much of a high singer, she does ok with high notes, but low notes suit her better! :D), she sounds really good in Shining Power (Hahaha, yeah I just had to mention that xD) :)
3. Risako Sugaya: ....What to say about her vocals... Ummm... She has this yelling thing... Whenever she gets to a high note, she can't hit, she yells it out, and she has pitch and control problems (mainly control =P) too......... but with all that being said, Risako really does have an amazing voice (vocal tone, and this is all, imo of course), I wish Tsunku would "properly" train her (I know Tsunku hasn't been training them as well as he should.. That old man is getting lazier and lazier as he ages *joking, joking* xD). Seriously though, I think Risako really does have it in her to be really good (Right now she's just OK, she's decent, but when she gets older I think she could be something really good for H!P vocally).
4. Saki Shimizu: She has pretty decent singing (she's pretty stable live), but her voice, whenever Captain tries to sing higher she sometimes produces this really nasally sound, and this nasally sound happens to be the reason why my friend (who happens to be a fan of Captain) has not been liking her singing lately (the way he talks about her voice now makes it seem like he thinks she can't sing, she can sing though, just her tone sounds nasally.. I guess a little too nasally for his taste.. I kinda dislike nasally voices too sometimes! xD ^^)... Captain does have her moments when she doesn't sound as nasally singing in a higher range though :)
5. Maasa Sudou: Lol, Ummm... What's their to say about Maasa's vocals..... Ummmm.... She has her good moments (ROTFL! xD).... I noticed though that she sometimes has a hard time staying in tune, and she doesn't stretch notes all that well, but still, she has her good moments. XD
6. Chinami Tokunaga: Ah, well.... She has a cute voice (I love her tone! ^^)
She's kinda pitchy and flat though (her tone, even though I love it, actually doesn't help her much.. probably makes this more noticeable and worsier for her in some ways xD)... =P

Personal Taste, Berryz Koubou:
1. Risako Sugaya: I was so sure I was gonna put Miyabi or Momoko here.... Somehow I ended up putting Risa at #1 though... LOL. I guess that diva voice of hers appeals to me more than I thought.. xD
2. Momoko Tsugunaga: Her idol voice (cute voice) and her Buono voice (mature voice), I love them both, and I think I've stated that before though, right? So, no fans should be surprised. xD
3. Miyabi Natsuyaki: I love how Miyabi's voice sounds when she sings ballads... so soft and soothing....
4. Chinami Tokunaga: I like her childish voice... It's cute!! :)
5. Yurina Kumai: I'm pretty neutral about Kumai's voice... I don't dislike it, but I don't love it either (I know there are some fans who hate her voice... I don't hate it though... =P).
6. Saki Shimizu: LOL. I'm not too crazy about nasally voices, I love when Captain sings in her lower range though (It sounds a lot less nasally =P)... She sounds too nasally in her higher range... xD
7. Maasa Sudou: ....Uhhhhh.... Hmmmm.... Yeah..... I'm indifferent about her voice, I guess... xD

If you guys don't agree with how I ranked them for the vocal skills part (which I'm sure some of you don't =P) well than... Go ahead and comment how you think they should be ranked. :D

*Edit*
I changed my mind about the top.... =P
